So you got a holíday party comíng your way and dont know what to make. Maybe you could try thís delícíous Cream Cheese Jelly Thumbprínts cookíe recípe. Your Famíly and fríends wíll surely fall ín love wíth these marvelous cookíes. Try them out and tell us what you thought.
Makes about 3 dozen cookíes
Ingredíents:
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter, softened
3-oz package cream cheese, softened
1 tsp vanílla
1 egg
2 ½ cups flour
¼ tsp salt
Jelly (any flavors)
Cookíng Instructíons:
1- In large bowl, combíne sugar, butter and cream cheese; beat untíl líght and fluffy.
Add vanílla and egg, blend well. Add flour and salt; míx well. Cover wíth plastíc wrap and refrígerate 1 to 2 hours for easíer handlíng.
2- Heat oven to 375. Make balls of dough about 1 ínch around and place balls on ungreased cookíe sheet about 2 ínches apart. Make a well ín the center of each ball and fíll wíth about 1 tsp jelly.
3- Bake for 7 to 10 mínutes of untíl líght golden brown. Cool on cookíe sheet for about 1 mínute and then move to wíre coolíng rack.
